The Thunderbirds are a U.S. Air Force demonstration team flying General Dynamics F-16s, they can be found at several Air shows throughout the country. These F-16 jets flown by the Thunderbirds created by far one of the most difficult performances I’ve ever had to photograph due to their high-speed maneuvers they do.

As you can see by the armed guards around this aircraft, it is guarded heavily as its technology is state of the art and most of the workings of it are strict military secrets. The Lockheed Martin F-35 was on display only, and did not fly during the air show.

The Boeing C-17 is among one of the largest transport aircraft in the military’s possession and this one is the accompanying transport plane of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. This transport plane needed to be maintained after it had landed at Fox Field for reasons unknown to me, the maintenance continued over several days before the transport was finally allowed to take off and leave.

The demonstration of the F/A-18E Super Hornet at the air show showed many capabilities of the aircraft as well as allowing it to impress and wow the crowd. These are some of the shots captured as the jet flew considerably low.
